“Food Deserts” Magazine Spread

Assistant Art Director

In my Information Graphics course, I was selected by the professor to serve as the Assistant Art Director for a class-wide project focused on food deserts in the U.S., spanning local to national perspectives. I collaborated closely with the Art Director to develop the visual style guide, distribute responsibilities, and support teams to ensure a cohesive and visually consistent final product. I also helped organize resources and coordinated outreach to professionals for additional subject matter insight. Additionally, I designed the “Origins of Food Deserts” page, which explored the historical and systemic roots of the issue.
